odd duck Corp. (“odd duck”, “we”, or “us”) operates the HanNun Bible app (the “Service”) and takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use, store, and protect it.
1.Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you sign in, you authenticate with your Apple or Google account. Through this process we receive from the provider your email address, a unique account identifier, and (where provided) your name and profile information. We never collect or store your login password.
1.2 AI feature data
When you use the AI features, the text you enter (questions, prompts, etc.) is processed through OpenRouter, a third-party AI routing service, in order to generate responses.
We do not store your AI conversations on our own servers. Note that these requests are processed under the privacy policies of OpenRouter and the underlying AI model providers.
1.3 Advertising data
The Service displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and use your advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA), device and app information, and approximate location based on your IP address.
1.4 Automatically collected information
To operate the Service reliably and address errors, we may automatically collect your device type, operating system and app version, and error logs.
2.How We Use Your Information
- Providing the Service and managing sign-in and accounts
- Delivering responses through the AI features
- Showing ads to keep the Service free
- Responding to inquiries and sending notices
- Improving the Service, diagnosing errors, and maintaining security
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
3.Third-Party Services & Sharing
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the Service. Each processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for purposes other than those described here.
4.Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account information while your account remains active and delete it without undue delay upon your account-deletion request, except where retention is required by law. AI conversations are not stored on our servers.
5.Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the processing of your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and related data from within the app’s settings menu, or by emailing us at cs@oddduck.ooo. We will act without undue delay as required by law.
6.Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 14 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
7.Personalized Ads & Your Choices
You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > “Opt out of Ads Personalization”
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
8.Security
We apply reasonable safeguards, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), to keep your personal information secure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or in the Service. When we do, we will post the updated policy in the app or on this page.
